Defending the Constitution

Advancing constitutional democracy, rule of law, institutional accountability, and citizen participation in Ghana’s democratic development.

IEA works to strengthen Ghana’s constitutional democracy by generating evidence, convening dialogue, and promoting reforms that improve accountability, representation, rule of law, and institutional performance.

Through research, public education, policy convenings, and constitutional reform advocacy, the Institute helps citizens and decision-makers engage with the constitutional questions that shape Ghana’s democracy.
