Our Work

Explore the key policy issues shaping Ghana’s development through research, dialogue, and evidence-based engagement.

Overview

The Institute’s work is organised around key programme areas that respond to both Ghana’s immediate public policy priorities and the longer-term structural issues shaping national development. Across these areas, the Institute combines research, policy engagement, public education, and stakeholder dialogue to advance practical reform and deepen public understanding.

Each programme area brings together research publications, policy dialogue, media engagement, institutional collaboration, and continuous policy reflection. This integrated approach enables the Institute not only to analyse critical national issues, but also to promote informed debate, strengthen policy awareness, and contribute meaningfully to reform processes.

The Institute’s major areas of work are the Economic Growth Project, Natural Resources and Industrialisation, Constitutional Issues, Governance and Public Policy, Nuclear Energy and Industrialisation, and Surveys and Polls.
