The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA Ghana), a leading independent public policy think tank, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief of Staff / Head of Operations to strengthen its organisational effectiveness and support its leadership team.

The role is suited to an experienced professional with a strong background in organisational management, public policy, advocacy, fundraising, donor engagement, and digital media.

Key responsibilities include:
• Oversee day-to-day operations and drive staff accountability
• Lead IEA Ghana’s advocacy programme and public policy engagement
• Manage and regularly update a network of 2,000 key national and international contacts
• Leverage digital media to increase visibility and stakeholder engagement
• Support fundraising and prepare donor/funder reports
• Strengthen organisational systems and processes

Requirements:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• 7+ years of managerial experience in a think tank, NGO, or similar organisation
• Proven organisational management and team-building experience
• Experience with donor reporting, fundraising, and digital media
• Strong knowledge of public policy and Ghana’s development landscape
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to write clearly and concisely
