Executive Certificate Programme in Economic Development Policy

The Institute of Economic Affairs is offering an important certificate programme for senior executives and government officials. The Executive Certificate Programme in Economic Development Policy aims to provide key decision makers with a solid understanding of basic economic concepts relating to development. 

The program will be taught over 13 weeks through 7 in-depth modules covering important topics like macroeconomics, fiscal and monetary policy, trade, economic growth and transformation, and natural resource management. The modules will be facilitated by renowned Ghanaian economists from both the public and private sectors. Guest speakers will also provide special lectures on select topics.

The programme is specially designed for business executives, parliamentarians, senior public servants and top civil servants. Even those without an economics background will gain valuable knowledge to aid their work through this practical and application-focused course. Understanding economic development issues is crucial for all leaders making decisions that impact a country’s prosperity.
