Dr. Ruba Rahman is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs. She has previously worked extensively on micro -finance, especially on monitoring and evaluating micro-finance projects in both rural and urban areas of Nepal, Kenya and Bangladesh.
She has also worked on gender, focusing specifically on impact of micro-loans on household income.
In addition, she has done strategy and policy development related work in the micro-finance and cross-cutting sectors like gender, governance and environment; and conducted research on micro-finance, gender and environment.
She holds a PhD in Resource Development from Michigan State University, USA.
