Abel Nyarko-Asomani is a Research Assistant at the Institute of Economic Affairs and is responsible for preparing short policy papers for publication, assisting in the preparation of survey instruments and assisting Senior Researchers in the Governance and Economics Policy Centres to write reports.
His previous experiences include working as an intern at the Department of Economics, University of Cape Coast. He holds an Mphil in Economics from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and a B.A. Economics and Sociology from the same university.
Abel is a fellow at the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) and has also taken part in the Joint Facility for Electives (JFE) programme in 2016 which was organised by the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) in Nairobi-Kenya.
